It took me many years to understand that I didn’t have to pretend to be more than I was to find those people ‘out there’ who wanted to hear what I had to say.  Who wanted to work with me because of the way that I approach my clients, my work and the kind of things I do for them.

Much of my time was spent becoming more – a better writer, learning more about marketing, becoming a better web designer, learning traffic tactics, taking courses, attending webinar after webinar…  I was afraid I would never be good enough.  Of course that was rubbish – I mean how expert did I need to be?

I believe that if you Just Be Yourself and you market from the heart of that, then the people who resonate with your message, your approach, your product or service will be able to find you more easily.

It is so often difficult to find the ‘real’ people online.  So much marketing is hype and rubbish and that makes it so much easier for those who are willing to market from the heart and tell the story of themselves, their business or community – because they will stand out as being real, authentically themselves.   It is then that magic can happen.
